Accident Reporting

In the event of an accident, under the new Motor Claims Framework (MCF), no matter how trivial the accident or even there is no visible damage to your vehicle, and irrespective of whether you are making a claim or not, it is mandatory that you make an accident report within 24 hours of the accident. Failure to do so might cause you to have your claim later declined, and also your NCD forfeited upon renewal of your policy. To find out more about the MCF, click on the banner to your right.

We are able to help you do accident reporting irrespective of the insurance company that you bought your policy from. Please feel free to give us a call at 64532121 and we will be able to advise you accordingly. 

3rd Party Claims

We are able to help you with your 3rd party claims (claim against the other party's insurance) in the event that you are a victim of an unfortunate accident.

Simply send your car to our workshop, or give us a call if your car is not drivable and we will send our tow truck to assist you.

We will assist you in doing all the necessary paperwork in order to make a claim. For repair works, we only use original parts or equivalent (OEM) parts. This is to ensure the reliability of the car after repair. Also, while waiting for your car to be repaired back to the original state, we will provide you with a courtesy car to use during the period of repair. 

Also, in the unfortunate event of a hit-and-run accident, if you have a witness to the accident, we are also able to help you do a 3rd party claim. Please call us and we will advice you accordingly. 


Own Damage Claims

In the event that you want to make a claim against your own insurance company, please note that if your policy is such that it enables any workshop to repair your vehicle, please feel free to drop by and we can assist you with the necessary paperwork as well as the repair works. However, for policies that state that only repair at authorised workshops are allowed, we are able to do repairs for the following companies:

a) Tokio Marine Insurance
b) Ergo Insurance
c) Great American Insurance

Do note, however, that by making a claim against your own insurance (other than for windscreen damage), your NCD will be affected. (Usually there will be a 30% reduction in the event of a claim).

For policy holders of other insurance companies, please do not fret! Due to our years of experience in this industry, we have many contacts and even though we may not be authorised to help you with your repair, we are able to recommend you to our trusted counterparts who will be able to help you all the same! So please feel free to give us a call and we can advice you accordingly. 

Servicing & Maintenance

We provide servicing and maintenance for your vehicle at a very reasonable price! 

Standard package rates are about $130++ for fully synthetic engine oil, oil filter, air filter and detailed check of your car. 

At Vin's Motor, we believe in transparency and honesty. During the checks, when we find anything that is damaged/worn, we will contact the owner of the car and will only proceed to repair/change the part upon approval. After the change, we will show the owner the changed part and exactly where the damage has occurred. 


Diagnostic Services

At Vin's Motor, we believe in constantly upgrading ourselves, in order to keep up with the latest technology and repair know-how. As such, we have invested in high tech automotive diagnostic equipment to diagnose your car for problems.

Currently, the list of diagnostic equipment we have are:

5. Mercedes Benz Xentry (NEW!)
6. Audi/VW ODIS (NEW!)

The first  3 machines are generic diagnostic machines that able to diagnose almost all makes of vehicles, and together with our wealth of experience in this field we are able to pinpoint the exact problem and help you solve the problem in the quickest time. 

In line with our mission to constantly upgrade and improving ourselves, we have recently just purchased dedicated diagnostic equipment (which are the same ones that the Authorised Dealers use at their workshop!) for the 3 major continental car brands (BMW, Mercedes & Audi/VW). With these equipment, we are able to diagnose the major continental car brands and improve our repair capabilities by using their guided test functions and coding capabilities. If you have any problems with your continental car, feel free to give us a call or bring your car down for a quick diagnostic check! 

Towing Services

We have a dedicated tow truck and we will be able to attend to you in the quickest time. Do let us know how we can assist you. In the event of battery-related issues (flat battery etc), or tyre issues (punctured tyres etc), please call us and we can arrange for a emergency rescue team to attend to you in the quickest time.  

General Repair

We are able to do body repair (panel beating), spray painting, engine overhaul etc.

Our staff have working with us for over 20 years and they have a wealth of experience in this area of repair.
